College Essay Consulting

For eight years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with students across the country, supporting and guiding them through the college essay process. Likewise, as a mother of two sons, I've also experienced that application process as a parent, and the emotions (exhaustion!) that can accompany this experience.

 During these years, I have witnessed the college application process become increasingly competitive, as students stretch themselves with grades, test scores, and extracurriculars. What we are learning is that the essays, sometimes the lone place where your students' personalities and voices can be heard, have become one of the most important components of the application itself.

As such, these essays can be a wonderful opportunity for your student to set themselves apart and truly introduce themselves to colleges and universities, apart from grades and scores.
